Let’s talk about The Commons.
Hats off to their team and coming up with a solid mid-century vibe in a very, very cool neighborhood on Cherry Street.
Can I say that I love this as a proud Generation X-er?
The Commons is a throwback to Mom’s cooking with a vintage vibe. When you walk in the first thing you see is a black, rotary phone that will bring you back to your Grandma’s house in no time. (at least…my Grandma’s house):
You have your choice of being seated at a regular table (with Grandma’s water classes waiting for you, seriously) or you can sit with a drink while you wait in the “living room” complete with console TV and That 70s Show couch!
Start with a custom cocktail, wine or beer, then enjoy sharables, salads, handhelds or an entree and be transported back to Mom (or Grandma’s) cooking.
Tip: Hang out on the sweet patio when the weather’s nice!
Ninja Tip: Plan your arrival strategically if you’re arriving by car, parking can be a challenge if you’re not familiar with the surrounding city streets.
Check out their Facebook page to learn more about them and enjoy a night out with the classics.
